Facilities remain open during office hours.

For convenience and safety, providers are accessible via telehealth, telephone, or in person with precautions.

CDC prevention protocols are in effect and staff/clients are asked to take personal responsibility for precautions.

Visitors are not allowed in facilities, other than parents/guardians.

About Bear River Mental Health

Bear River Mental Health began providing mental health services in January 1977, and incorporated as a private not-for-profit organization in 1983. We have been providing quality mental health services for over four decades.

Who We Serve

Bear River Mental Health serves ALL individuals, regardless of age or ability to pay, who are experiencing a mental health crisis; including suicide ideation, panic attacks, un-controllable behavior, or situations involving a threat to self or others. Under-insured or uninsured children, youth, and their families, individuals involved in the legals system, and all Medicaid eligible individuals, may qualify for service.

Our Service Area

Bear River Mental Health provides services to individuals residing in Box Elder, Cache, and Rich counties. There are convenient locations throughout Northern Utah where children, families, and adults of all ages can access quality services in community settings.

Our Staff

Our staff of over 100 trained professionals, representing a broad array of clinical disciplines, are specialized in the treatment of mental illness. These disciplines include

Our Board of Directors

BRMH is served by a governing Board of Directors, comprised of a variety of private, public, and local government stakeholders, including county commissioners. The Board is dedicated to providing consistent oversight of Center operations, while helping to ensure the effectiveness of our services.
