Services Overview
Bear River Mental Health provides a comprehensive array of evidence-based and medically necessary services delivered according to best practice guidelines. We offer client-centered services that encompass an individualized and comprehensive treatment plan.
Each of our clients meet with a treatment coordinator (therapist) who assesses the clients’ personal situations, symptoms, behaviors and skills or abilities. With an individualized plan in place, our providers prescribe the services needed to reach the overall goal of mental health recovery. Our specific focus is on decreasing psychiatric symptomology and mental disability, increasing clients’ abilities to function at the highest levels possible and helping our clients live as independently as possible.
Prescribed services may include a variety of mental health treatment methods and activities, including mental health counseling, as deemed appropriate and beneficial for our clients, whether individuals, couples, partners or families. These include:

Behavior Management

Mental health disorders can result in behavioral issues for adults and children. Our behavior management services are aimed at changing the thinking that surrounds negative behaviors, interpersonal and societal interactions and relationships. Our providers offer both individual and group management options.
Case Management
(Individual/Group)
Staying on the path toward better mental health can be tricky when trying to juggle everyday life with treatment and services. Bear River Mental Health offers case management to help clients stick to their treatment plan through advocacy, follow ups and close monitoring.Psychotherapy

Bear River Mental Health offers evidence-based psychotherapy services using a variety of modalities. Our providers are trained in a range of types of psychotherapy to provide our clients with the therapy options that meet their unique, personal needs. We offer services for individuals, groups, couples and families.Skills Development

Living a successful life requires skills in many different situations. Bear River Mental Health offers courses in a range of skills, including emotional regulation and stress management, designed to help children and adults improve their lives and experience positive relationships with families and society as a whole.Languages served: Options for both in-person English and Spanish services, as well as published service information are available. Accommodations for individuals who are Medicaid eligible and require interpreter services for other languages are available, but must be scheduled or arranged prior to the client’s appointment.
